Young girls need guidance to become the best and healthiest versions of themselves. We cannot assume they know how to make positive choices, nor understand the impacts that certain choices have on their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This kind of cultivation takes time. We’d like to provide participants with the opportunity to learn what it takes to stay healthy. To be in a non-judgemental environment. To experience lifting one another up instead of making comparisons. To gain a toolkit that leads to positive social and mental experiences.
Through this program, developing girls will learn about the importance of nutrition, movement, positive self-esteem, healthy friendships, and the ability to manage anxiety and emotions. We want to empower young women by teaching them how to understand what their bodies need and, in turn, become strong advocates for themselves and others around them.
