Youth Sponsorship Applications Now Open!

Youth today move less and eat more ultra-processed foods. These factors lead to youth who don’t get the recommended daily exercise and are susceptible to an array of health concerns. By funding (fully or partially) a participant whose family needs financial assistance, we hope to expose and educate children on the importance of regular movement.

Does your child have a physical activity program they’d like to try? Let us help you cover the cost of this meaningful step in their fitness journey.

    Nutrition

Diets high in whole foods lead to lower occurrences of heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, metabolic syndromes, and certain cancers.

    Movement

Sedentary lifestyles are linked to a wide range of health issues from obesity to depression.

    Community Engagement

Being part of a community can provide a sense of belonging, identity, and support, which are all vital to our psychological well-being.

Who We Are

The Centered Foundation grew out of the observations and experiences of a small group of local coaches, educators, and healthcare providers. Over the past few decades, as technology and a culture of convenience has permanently changed our societal landscape, it has become clear that we are moving less, engaging virtually instead of in person, and eating highly processed calories instead of whole foods. We aim to reverse this trend by educating and transforming lifestyles to reduce the need for future intervention and improve health.
